Westboro Baptist Protest Protest
The Westboro Baptist Church (of the "God Hates Fags" website and Fred Phelps fame) was in Chicago yesterday to protest the Jews. The Westboro clan, with several small children and pictures of bloody babies in tow, protested at Jewish Synagogues. They also convened outside the Auditorium Theatre before Don Rickles' comedy fundraiser for fellow Jews. As usual, the Westboro groupies were protesting Jews (for killing Jesus), Homosexuals (for being so sinfully tempting), and Obama (for being the Anti-Christ. Which we all know he is).
But at the Best* Church of God, we know that the Phelps Followers are deeply misguided. God hates so many more things than Jews, Gays, and Obama (a gay Jew--don't let his family fool you)! The Westboros forgot about God hating figs (Mark 11:14), God hating yeast (Exodus 20:12), God hating humans (Genesis 7:16), the list goes on. And on. Fortunately, the BCOG showed up with our biblically accurate protest signs to remind those misled Baptists that if you are going to take the Bible literally, you have to take the whole thing literally. Which we do.
